About Me
I am a songwriter, singer, performer, illustrator, and artist.
As a musician, I began playing piano at age 5 and have sung all my life. I have been writing songs for almost 15 years and worked heavily as a volunteer in worship ministry from high school through the present, including working as a worship leader at a church for 2 years. I received my degree from Millgan College in fine arts with a music emphasis and a minor in art.
As an artist, I began as a child, doodling ever-so-impressive masterpieces on the napkins and the backs of receipts from Mom's purse, mostly to entertain myself while waiting at restaurants. I illustrated my first children's book for a local author in Tennessee in 2010. My delight is in drawing rich, whimsical characters and scenes with a story.
I hope to explore more opportunities in the future in the pursuit of both singing/songwriting and drawing/illustrating. Enjoy this little corner; may you find a little beauty here.
